MY STORY
I’m Sharon L. Peterson, and I was born in Brooklyn, NY, where I served as a NYC Corrections Officer for many years. After retiring, having a passion to see lives change, , I heard the call of the Lord and retired from my job to serve a life sentence in full-time ministry.
I then relocated to Hapeville, GA, where I began preaching the word of God to everyone who would hear it in the park of Hapeville. Evangelist by heart! God has blessed me with 3 beautiful daughters, Teisha, Tema, & Teiara, and my handsome gentle giant, my son Rudy. Greatly blessed with 9 grandchildren and a multitude of spiritual sons and daughters from Georgia to Africa.
Spreading the Word of God Beyond the Four Walls of Church
My Mission
I believe that everyone should have access to the gospel of Jesus Christ, so my mission is to spread the word beyond the four walls of the church building. I minister to everyone who have the desire to improve their relationship with Christ. Through the avenues of guest speaking, bible study, or one on one time fellowship.
My Ministry
God blessed me with this title Living Word Ministry on the deck of my backyard one day when I asked HIM what would you have me to do. I had 7 other names in mind, but I heard HIS voice very clearly. That is how the ministry started. I wrote Give GOD Thanks in All Things and several journals, and became a guest speaker, teacher, and preacher, in the State of Georgia. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, I’m here to help you take the next step.
